April 6 - 8, 2021

Past

Convened by Transportation Research Board and sponsored by the Federal Highway Administration, the Measuring and Managing Freight System Resilience Workshop on April 6 -8, 2021 will bring together a community to address challenges and strategies of assuring freight system resilience in the face of disruptions caused by major natural hazards. In part-day virtual sessions on April 6, 7 and 8, 2021, presentations of three major freight disruption events will be used to frame a discussion among public and private sector managers affected. Response panels spanning all modes, along with online participants, will explore resilience options including infrastructure investments, operational adaptations, and enhanced inter-party collaborations.
