April 29, 2019

9:30 AM - 12:00 PM (EDT)

Past

How do you determine which scientific results are trustworthy? This session will explore the foundations of establishing trust and what the scientific community is doing to more systematically establish—and signal—which results have earned trust. Speakers will present research as well as participate in panel discussions. In-person audience members will be invited to submit examples of a problem and solution that increased the trustworthiness of research in their discipline to illustrate the range of creative solutions being undertaken to address issues across the sciences.
