Convened by TRB, the 2024 TRB Annual Meeting is held January 7-11, 2024 in Washington, D.C.

The TRB Annual Meeting attracts thousands of transportation professionals from around the world. The program covers all transportation modes, with sessions and workshops addressing topics of interest to policy makers, administrators, practitioners, researchers, and representatives of government, industry, and academic institutions.

On Sunday, January 7, employers and potential employees joined the Careers in Motion Networking Fair.

Susan Handy delivered the 2024 Thomas B. Deen Distinguished Lectureship on January 8.

On January 10 at the Chair's Plenary Session:

• Nathaniel P. Ford, Sr. received the 2024 Sharon Banks Medal
• Imad L. Al-Qadi received the 2023 Roy W. Crum Award
• John M. Mason, Jr. received the 2023 W.N. Carey, Jr. Award
