The Inflation Reduction Act (IRA) includes several provisions that introduce substantial changes across multiple sectors, including health care. The IRA's health care provisions aim to lower out-of-pocket costs for Medicare beneficiaries and reduce federal spending on prescription drugs. This virtual workshop series will examine these provisions and their implications for access to high-quality care for chronic diseases and for innovation in drug development, with a particular focus on cancer care.
