Description
An ad hoc planning committee of the National Academies of Sciences, Engineering, and Medicine will organize and conduct a public workshop that examines the frontier of monitoring tools and data-driven approaches for materials in extreme environments. The planning committee will consist of selected members of the Condensed Matter and Materials Research Committee (CMMRC), potentially supplemented by additional members to provide the necessary expertise to plan and conduct the workshop. The planning committee will develop the agenda for the workshop, select and invite speakers and discussants, and moderate the discussions. A workshop proceedings will be prepared by a designated rapporteur.
