The Committee on Progress Toward Human Health and Community Resilience in the Gulf of Mexico Region will hold a public webinar to discuss its new report, “Advancing Health and Community Resilience in the Gulf of Mexico Region, A Roadmap for Progress.” The report explores key challenges and priorities in Gulf states (including Alabama, Florida, Louisiana, Mississippi, and Texas) related to human health and community resilience, evaluates progress that has been made in recent years, and presents opportunities for future improvement. Additionally, it makes recommendations for overcoming major challenges, closing critical gaps, and implementing innovative or transformative approaches that focus on the diverse needs and experiences of people who live and work in the Gulf region.
