The COVID-19 pandemic has created both short-term and long-term negative consequences for behavioral health outcomes. The National Academies of Sciences, Engineering, and Medicine's Forum on Mental Health and Substance Use Disorders will host a free public virtual workshop: Mental Health and Substance Use Disorders in the Era of COVID-19: With a Special Focus on the Impact of the Pandemic on Communities of Color.

The virtual workshop will be held via three webinars on November 23, December 3, and December 14, 2020.

The third webinar will focus on the mental health well-being of the health care workforce, with a special focus on the impact of the pandemic on communities of color.
