This public workshop provided a venue for stakeholders to discuss the state of transparency in reporting pre-clinical biomedical research and explore the possibility of improving harmonization of reporting guidelines across journals and funding agencies. The workshop was convened by the Forum on Drug Discovery, Development, and Translation; the Forum on Neuroscience and Nervous System Disorders; the National Cancer Policy Forum; and the Roundtable on Genomics and Precision Health. The workshop was co-sponsored by the National Institutes of Health, Cell Press, The Lancet, and Nature Research.
