This workshop will explore the in vitro derivation of human gametes (eggs and sperm) from stem cells. Sessions will consider scientific and clinical goals motivating research in this field, technical advances and barriers, and the range of ethical, social, legal, and regulatory implications posed by potential uses of this technology.
