Description
At the request of the Alzheimer’s Association an ad hoc committee will plan and host a half-day public workshop at the 2010 International Conference on Alzheimer's Disease. Individuals from industry, academia, and funding agencies will be invited to make presentations and stimulate discussions aimed at exploring future opportunities to leverage the Alzheimer's Disease Neuroimaging Initiative (ADNI). Particular consideration will be made for opportunities for the second phase of the ADNI project, ADNI 2. Presentations will also examine the key elements that led to the success of partnerships that were established as a result of ADNI and how these elements may assist in the establishment of future multi-sector efforts needed to explore central nervous system developmental and neurodegenerative disorders. An individually authored summary of the workshop will be prepared in accordance with institutional policy and procedures.
