Evidence for Clinical Utility of Molecular Diagnostics in Oncology: A Workshop

The Roundtable on Translating Genomic-Based Research for Health hosted a workshop with the Center for Medical Technology Policy to discuss research methodologies required to demonstrate and assess the clinical validity and clinical utility of molecular diagnostics for oncology. The presentations and discussions explored the challenges in and identified potential opportunities for advancing the development and use of molecular diagnostic tests that are used to guide the treatment and management of oncology patients.
