The COVID-19 pandemic has drastically impacted education and the way teaching and learning is taking place. Schools closed down around the world and mathematics teachers were facing the challenge of developing alternative educational practices. Moving Forward in the Midst of a Pandemic: International Lessons for Math Teachers is a new webinar series that the USNC/MI started in the summer of 2020 as a result of COVID-19 to assist teachers and educators through this challenging time. The purpose of this initiative is to share with the U.S. mathematics education community the best practices observed from international experts.
