The Strategic Council for Research Excellence, Integrity, and Trust serves as a venue for multiple stakeholders to advance collectively the integrity, ethics, resilience, and effectiveness of the research enterprise, while at the same time preparing it for tomorrow's challenges. The Strategic Council Working Groups address issues relevant to improving the research ecosystem.

Description

Working Group 7 will identify the underlying barriers to the rapid and transparent correction of the scientific record. This Working Group inspired the development of a consensus study to recommend ways to improve the process by which corrections or retractions are made which will ultimately impact the quality of the scientific record.
