In April 2018, a committee under the auspices of the Board on Science, Technology, and Economic Policy convened a workshop to explore the challenges and opportunities for expanding innovation-led job growth and economic dynamism to smaller “micropolitan” communities across the State of Indiana. The workshop’s panels and discussions considered policies to more effectively network local resources across a varied geography and connect them to broader ecosystems and national and global innovation networks. A brief summary of the workshop was prepared, and an archived webcast of the event is available at https://bit.ly/2QyhEJp and https://bit.ly/2RlujoA,
