On January 30, the Committee on Advancing Commercialization from the Federal Laboratories will hold a videoconference with members of the National Lab Technology Transfer Group (NLTT) executive committee. The purpose of this call is to learn more about the types of digital products arising at the DOE labs, how digital products are changing over time, and how DOE is adapting to these changes.

The primary purpose of the NLTT is to provide counsel to the National Laboratory Directors' Council (NLDC) on technology transfer related matters and to carry out tasks as assigned by the NLDC. As part of this, the NLTT provides an interface to the United States Department of Energy (DOE) on department-wide issues and/or opportunities for improvements in leveraging the physical and intellectual assets of the laboratories through more effective and efficient transition of technologies from the laboratory into commercial practice.
