"Science communication is essential. It helps people see science as a deeply human process of curiosity, creativity, persistence, and discovery. Research rarely moves in a straight line. It advances through questions, setbacks, collaboration, learning from what does not work, and trying again. Excellent science communicators bring that process to life with authenticity and imagination, connecting with people’s hearts and minds and by inviting everyone to see science as a shared human endeavor."
