How are state departments of transportation incorporating weigh-in-motion (WIM) data into their highway projects? TRB hosted a webinar on Wednesday, October 21, 2020 from 12:00-1:30 PM Eastern that discussed WIM data use in the United States and in Europe. Presenters focused on the benefits of using WIM data for bridge and pavement design and management, load ratings, weight enforcement support, and freight planning logistics.
This webinar was organized by the TRB Standing Committee on Highway Traffic Monitoring and the National Cooperative Highway Research Program (NCHRP).
