On July 11, 2018, the Roundtable on Health Literacy hosted a workshop focused on the intersection of behavioral health, mental health, and health literacy. The workshop examined approaches used across medical care systems and in communities that could address communication issues. The workshop also examined how health literacy principles are currently incorporated in these approaches or could be incorporated in the future.
