Description
An ad hoc committee under the Board on Research Data and Information (BRDI) will organize a public symposium focused on international coordination for science data infrastructure. The symposium will focus on the following tasks:
• Reviewing proposed science data infrastructure projects around the globe, such as C2CAMP, Data Commons, GO FAIR, and National Data Service;
• Highlighting, comparing, and contrasting the plans and capabilities of these projects; and
• Discussing the critical success factors for implementation and the role of international cooperation for scientific data management.
A Proceedings of a Workshop in Brief will be prepared by a designated rapporteur in accordance with institutional guidelines.
