Building Adaptable and Resilient Supply Chains after Hurricanes Harvey, Irma, and Maria

An ad hoc committee will conduct a study to document and understand the strengths and vulnerabilities of the supply chain network in areas impacted by Hurricanes Harvey, Irma, and Maria in 2017. The committee’s report will describe how the supply systems were impacted in terms of commonalities and differences; identify crucial interdependencies, nodes, or key sub-systems within the supply chain system that have the potential to amplify or constrain supply chain function, operations or resilience; and present options or recommendations to build robust supply chains, distribution systems, and infrastructure.
