Using Research and Technology to Address Compounding Disparities

A multi-sectoral, interdisciplinary approach to understanding the dimensions and determinants of social disparities and their intersections is necessary to work towards equity and equality of opportunity in the face of rapid technology innovation changing the future of work. This GUIRR meeting considered these and other questions to inform cross-sector collaboration and coordination between government, universities, and industry on their roles in working towards addressing the compounding socioeconomic effects of disparities in income, health, education, and digital connectivity.
