The next meeting of the Government-University-Industry Research Roundtable will be held on February 6-7, 2024 in Washington, D.C., on Supporting K-12 STEM Education to Create the Foundations for Innovation. The meeting will consider how the K-12 educational pipeline can be supported by the US research enterprise across diverse sectors to encourage workforce development and enhance future innovation and entrepreneurship. Senior leaders from government, university, industry, and philanthropy will convene with educational experts to discuss the evolving state of K-12 STEM education, early entrepreneurship education and the future of the STEM workforce, how to encourage science based economic development through regional education programs, and mapping the future of early STEM education to prepare an innovation-based workforce.
