The TRB Executive Committee will prepare a new version of Critical Issues in Transportation. Critical issues are defined as long-term transportation problems or questions that are major policy issues, or are expected to be major issues during the next decade. TRB will publicize the list for the transportation community, and the public; use it for strategic planning; and use it to guide TRB's future programs, research, and studies.
