On June 24, 2026, GUIPRR will host a workshop titled "National Conversation on Reimagining the U.S. Research Enterprise: Cross-Sector Perspectives and Emerging Opportunities" in Washington, DC.

This convening will build on discussions from a recent workshop and identify strategies to enhance collaboration, efficiency, and alignment across research, workforce, and innovation systems. It will also explore key insights, including potential levers for change, priority actions requiring coordinated leadership, and near-term opportunities, particularly those that could meaningfully address cross-sector challenges within the next year.
