Description
An ad hoc planning committee will plan a series of 2 public dissemination workshops to discuss potential ways to address the current lack of established GME outcome measures, which was identified as a primary concern in the consensus report. The workshop will feature invited presentations and panel discussion on topics that may include:

meaningful and measurable outcomes of GME
-
possible metrics that could be used to track these outcomes
-
GME data sources and current access requirements
-
possible mechanisms for collecting, collating, analyzing and reporting this data (appropriately protecting confidentiality)

the resources and agreements that would be necessary for a national database
The planning group will develop the agenda for the workshop sessions, select and invite speakers and discussants, and moderate the discussions. A preceedings of the presentations and discussions at the workshop will be prepared by a designated rapporteur in accordance with institutional guidelines.
