In early 2024, the National Academies of Sciences, Engineering, and Medicine will host two workshops entitled, An Inclusive and Equitable Ocean: A Workshop (IEO). The purpose of the workshops will be to hear a broad range of perspectives about best practices for engaging in an inclusive, equitable, and sustainable way for ocean science.

On January 16, 2024, from 1:00-2:00 PM EST, a virtual town hall will be held to seek input from the public to help guide the work of the IEO Planning Committee.
