The Roundtable on Population Health Improvement and the Roundtable on the Promotion of Health Equity and the Elimination of Health Disparities held a public workshop at the Arnold & Mabel Beckman Conference Center in Irvine, California. The workshop featured presentations on and discussion of topics such as elements identified from the history and sociology of social change movements, and optimizing how such elements are applied to present-day efforts nationally and across communities to improve the chances for long, healthy lives for all (i.e., with health equity)
