The New Voices Catalyst Lecture Series convenes mid-career and senior leaders around a current scientific topic to catalyze discussion across disciplines and career stages. Organized by the New Voices in Sciences, Engineering, and Medicine program, the series hosts half-day lecture events once or twice annually at New Voices member institutions across the country. Supported by the Shu and KC Chien Endowed Fund, the series connects National Academies members from all three academies with New Voices members to examine current issues from different disciplinary and career-stage perspectives.
