Our Expertise
The Food, Nutrition, and Agriculture program area convenes experts and leaders in food policy, safety, and quality; nutrition and health; and agriculture and food systems to provide independent and cross-sector guidance on how these systems can meet today’s challenges.
Our work examines the biological and environmental foundations of food production, nutrition, and safety — providing evidence to inform policy, investment, and innovation in food systems. From advancing sustainable agricultural practices and improving animal health to developing and informing nutrition standards, our work shapes understanding of how food systems support both public and planetary health.
