On January 11, 2024, the National Academies of Sciences, Engineering, and Medicine will release the consensus study report, Essential Health Care Services Addressing Intimate Partner Violence. The Committee on Sustaining Essential Health Care Services Related to Intimate Partner Violence During Public Health Emergencies was tasked with identifying the essential health care services for women related to intimate partner violence (IPV) during steady state conditions, determining whether the essential health care services related to IPV differ during public health emergencies (PHEs), and identifying strategies to sustain access to those essential health care services during PHEs. The National Academies of Sciences, Engineering, and Medicine Committee on Sustaining Essential Health Care Services Related to Intimate Partner Violence During Public Health Emergencies will be holding a closed committee meeting on February 23-24, 2023, with a public session on February 23, 2023 from 3:45 PM-6:20 PM ET (12:45 PM-3:20 PM PT).

Presentations from the second panel will discuss systems of care for people experiencing intimate partner violence.
