According to its website, “Replica runs a seasonal, high-fidelity simulation that accurately represents the population and its travel patterns for the whole country. Customers use this data to improve planning and monitoring of transportation and land use systems, and to make decisions related to the ways people interact with the built environment” (https://documentation.replicahq.com/docs/disaggregate-trip-tables).
Replica trip data includes private automobiles, TNCs, transit, freight, and active transportation modes (walking, bicycling, and scootering). Users can view data at the census tract level, for roadway links, and for specific geographies.
StreetLight Data is a mobility analytics company that uses big data to study the movement of people, goods, and services. Streetlight offers metrics for different modes, geographies, and time ranges (https://www.streetlightdata.com/how-it-works/). The StreetLight InSight data platform contextualizes and aggregates travel patterns and provides information at the census tract level, along roadway links, and for user-drawn geographies.
INRIX provides customers with location-based data and analytics of real-time and historical traffic and parking conditions through its INRIX IQ platform. According to its website, in addition
to traffic signal and roadway data, INRIX offers curb-use analytics and provides data on parking usage patterns, including electric vehicle parking. INRIX does not provide information on walking, bicycling, or transit use.
Other data aggregators and consulting organizations that support data-driven decision-making are Waze for Cities, CurbIQ, Ride Report, Vianova, and Populous.ai. CurbIQ is a digital curbside management provider for digitizing curb space, compiling and analyzing usage patterns, and forecasting demand. Ride Report is a mobility management platform for bikesharing, carsharing, and scooter sharing programs. Vianova offers tools to design, operate, and analyze micromobility fleets. Populous.ai offers mobility management and curb management tools.
