APPENDIX F

Summary of Certification Information Gathered from State Websites

The practices and methods listed were compiled from information found on the DOT’s website or from a document or documents on their website.

AASHTO standard specifications begin with an “M,” practices begin with an “R,” and test methods begin with a “T.” AASHTO designations usually have a space between the letter and the number. The space was intentionally left out to facilitate data mining that was used for Chapter 5 content.

ASTM standard designations begin with a “C” or “D” and do not include a space.

Please refer to the respective website for the full name of a listed standard. American Concrete Institute (ACI) certification programs related to DOT-type work and their practices and methods are listed in Appendix E.

Note: these certifications and listed practices and methods have not been verified by the DOTs, and changes may have occurred since the information was gathered.
