Informing the Gulf Research Program’s Enhancing Community Resilience (EnCoRe) Initiative Expert Panel Series

Completed

The Gulf Research Program is developing new programming around health and community resilience and brought together experts who work in the five Gulf Coast states and Alaska to better understand what the critical issues and challenges communities in these states are facing and will potentially face in the coming decades and what the potential areas of opportunity are for building and enhancing health and community resilience in these communities.

Description

The purpose of this series of panel sessions is to collect input from experts about critical issues and challenges Gulf Coast communities currently face and will potentially face in the coming decades, what the priorities and needs are in the region to address these challenges, and what the potential areas of opportunity are for building and enhancing health/community resilience in Gulf Coast communities. This information will inform the development of the Gulf Research Program’s new Enhancing Community Resilience (EnCoRe) program.
