Description
Data, modeling, and simulations are critical to planning for and maintaining sustainable communities. The National Academies organized a workshop and webcast in January 2019 that brought together an interdisciplinary network of practitioners, business leaders, academics, and policy makers using data for urban sustainability. The workshop focused on identifying areas where cities can partner with the scientific community to address challenges related to air and water quality, transportation and physical infrastructure, and sustainable inclusive communities.
Building off the success of the workshop, we are excited to announce an upcoming webinar series in October 2019 where invited speakers will delve further into four important topic areas that emerged during the January workshop. If you are interested in attending any of the webinars, please register on this page. You are not required to register for all webinars in the series - you have the option to register only for the webinars you are interested in attending.
