In this webinar series, the Gulf Research Program’s Early-Career fellows engage with community members of all ages as they discuss how their work seeks to improve the well-being of coastal communities, protect ecosystems, and increase the safety of offshore energy operations.

This monthly webinar series has been designed to initiate conversations around societal and environmental problems in the Gulf while advancing scientific understanding. Emerging ScienTalks provides the public with a collaborative platform to engage with scientists and researchers.

Emerging ScienTalks will navigate the tensions between the pulls of weather, energy, economy, and the systemic challenges of daily life. This webinar series will highlight of the diversity of the Gulf, its ecosystems, and the scientists who work in the region.
