On March 31, from 1 to 4 pm EST, the National Academies of Sciences, Engineering, and Medicine will host an event designed to highlight, discuss, explore, and expand our understanding of how the COVID-19 pandemic has affected the professional and personal lives of women throughout the research workforce. Building of the National Academies consensus study report, Impact of COVID-19 on the Careers of Women in Academic Science, Engineering, and Medicine (released on March 9, 2021), the agenda is as follows:

On Tuesday March 9, 2021, join the National Academies of Sciences, Engineering, and Medicine for the public release of the consensus study report, The Impact of COVID-19 on the Careers of Women in Academic Science, Engineering, and Medicine. The report explores how the COVID-19 pandemic disrupted the careers of women in academic STEMM during 2020 and considers how these disruptions—both positive and negative—might shape future progress for women in academic STEMM.
