Health Resources and Services Administration (HRSA) is uniquely positioned to contribute to the U.S. Department of Health and Human Services’ (HHS) priority of behavioral health through its existing focus on behavioral health integration into primary care, and the populations it serves. This public workshop will inform ongoing HRSA behavioral health care services to assure the best possible short and long-term health outcomes for women experiencing anxiety and mood disorders.

Description
The National Academies of Sciences, Engineering, and Medicine will host a two-day public workshop which will feature invited presentations and panel discussions on topics such as:
• Essential health care services related to anxiety and mood disorders in women based on currently available evidence;
• Preparing for and prioritizing the provision of essential health care services related to anxiety and mood disorders in women; and
• Health disparities related to anxiety and mood disorders in women.
A workshop planning committee will develop the agenda for the workshop sessions, select and invite speakers and discussants, and moderate the discussions. A proceedings of the presentations and discussions at the workshop will be prepared by a designated rapporteur in accordance with institutional guidelines.
