Our Expertise
The Health Care and Public Health program area brings together experts across medicine, public health, and policy to provide independent, actionable guidance on how to improve the quality, safety, and effectiveness of health systems.
Our work spans clinical care delivery, health financing, and workforce development, as well as public health surveillance and preparedness that contribute toward healthy communities. We conduct activities that shape national responses to emerging health threats, evaluate policies to reduce health disparities, and strengthen systems that safeguard the public’s health.
