Description
A planning committee of the National Academies of Sciences, Engineering, and Medicine will organize and convene a one-day, public workshop to explore population health in rural America. The workshop will host speakers from sectors that contribute to population health in rural communities such as health care, public health and community-based organizations. Presentations will highlight promising activities attributable to each sector and that contribute to improving population health. A proceedings of the presentations and discussion at the workshop will be prepared by a designated rapporteur in accordance with institutional guidelines.
