APPENDIX C
Resource Identification Tool

The purpose of the Resource Identification Tool is to inform practitioners of sources that may contain ADAS educational materials. It is available on the National Academies Press website (nap.nationalacademies.org) by searching BTSCRP Research Report 18: Evaluating and Delivering Advanced Driver Assistance Systems (ADAS) Education: A Guide. The tool has a filterable sheet that summarizes the targeted organizational search of ADAS educational materials reviewed in 2023 during Phase I of this project. The tool includes materials that provided generic ADAS information that were available to the public for free except for YouTube online resources. Vehicle-specific materials (i.e., ownerʼs manuals) are not included. The tool also includes a sheet that provides information on how to use it. Table C-1 lists the columns in the tool.

Each source in the list includes text. Narration in videos was considered as “text.”

Disclaimer: Please be aware that the contents of this tool reflect sources of ADAS education that the research team identified during a targeted organizational search that was conducted in 2023. Sources or content may have been modified or removed since the review was conducted. Please also be aware that some of the information contained in the sources may be inaccurate or ambiguous.
